Fowler Bed
A Fowler Bed is a hospital bed designed to position patients in an upright sitting posture, typically with the head of the bed elevated between 45° to 60°. This position is commonly used in ICUs, wards, and post-operative care to aid respiratory function, digestion, and comfort, especially for patients with respiratory distress, cardiac issues, or feeding difficulties.
Fowler beds are available in manual, semi-electric, and fully electric models, depending on hospital requirements.
